Look at Portia and Ellen POF's advertising isn't as aimed toward the younger crowd as OkCupid's "Hey, we're gay" love are, so POF's audience is slightly skewed with a more mature audience.
This doesn't mean she's trying to look like a man, she's just subverting your idea of what a woman should look like and looking hot as hell in the process.
